Wear time depends on how well you prep your natural nails before application, your choice of adhesive, and your daily use. The key to longer wear time is prepping your nails with the supplies included, and avoiding long term exposure to water and manual labor. It is not unusual to pop gems, but take care when wearing your delicate art. Nails are not tools.
DOUBLE SIDED GEL TABS can hold anywhere from 1-3 days and are perfect for temporary wear and special occasions.
WITH GLUE, your nails can last anywhere up to 2 weeks or longer! Never continue to wear nails that are lifting as it can become a source for bacteria to breed. Remove lifting nails, then clean and dry before reapplying nails.
Nails with 3D designs are delicate, so take extra care when wearing.
No, there is no damage or glue residue left behind when removed properly. The amount of glue applied determines how long the nails will stay on. As long as the nails are not forced removed you will have zero damage.
GLUE INGREDIENTS: Ethyl Cyanoacrylate, Polymethyl, Methacrylate, BHA
Press-on nails are suitable for anyone who wants to have beautiful and convenient nails without the commitment of a salon visit or the damage of traditional acrylic or gel nails.
They are also a great option for those who don't have the time or money to visit a nail salon regularly.
Additionally, press-on nails are safe for children and pregnant women since they are completely harmless.
However, it's important to keep them away from children to prevent accidental ingestion.
There are several reasons why press-on nails may not stay on properly, and there are some simple solutions to address these issues:
1.Preparation: Make sure you prepare your nails properly before applying press-on nails. Clean your nails thoroughly with alcohol to remove any oils or residue, and use a nail file to gently roughen the surface of your nails.
2.Sizing: Make sure you select the right size of press-on nails. If they are too small, they won't cover your entire nail and will pop off easily. If they are too large, they won't adhere properly.
3.Application: Follow the instructions carefully when applying press-on nails. Make sure you press them firmly onto your nails, starting from the cuticle and pressing outwards towards the tip. Avoid getting any air bubbles trapped under the nails.
4.Glue: Consider using a stronger glue, such as nail glue or super glue, if the glue provided with the press-on nails is not strong enough.
5.Maintenance: Be gentle with your hands and avoid activities that can cause the press-on nails to loosen or break, such as dishwashing or using your nails to open packages.
By following these tips, you should be able to ensure that your press-on nails stay on securely for longer.
Never force remove the nails. Doing so could leave minor, but fixable damage. The only time nails are difficult to remove is when they are being removed prematurely. This means they are being forcibly removed on purpose or over gluing occurred during the application. Over gluing can be accidental, it just means the amount of glue applied will keep the nails on longer than you originally intended.
In either case, we recommend keeping the nails on for a few more days before attempting to properly remove again. If nail length is the reason you want to remove the nails sooner due to work or personal preferences, nails can be clipped and filed to reach your desired length in seconds.
No reason to stress :) If some of your press-on nails have popped off, here are some steps to help you fix the issue:
1.Clean the nail bed: Use a cotton ball soaked in nail polish remover to clean the nail bed of any remaining adhesive. This will help the new nail adhere better.
2.Reapply the nail: Apply a small amount of nail glue or adhesive to the back of the nail and press it firmly onto your clean nail bed.
3.Press and hold: Hold the nail in place for at least 30 seconds to allow the glue or adhesive to fully set.
4.Repeat: Repeat the process for any other nails that have popped off.
5.Consider reinforcement: If you find that certain nails keep popping off, consider using a stronger adhesive or reinforcement techniques, such as applying a layer of clear nail polish over the natural nail before applying the press-on nail. This will provide extra grip for the adhesive.
With these steps, you should be able to fix any press-on nails that have popped off and ensure they stay on securely for the duration of their wear.
If your nail has glue build up from where your natural nail tip was, simply use a cuticle or nail clipper to clip it off - and done! You can also use something stiff to push it off. Build up is caused from over-gluing which is totally okay. If you have a little glue residue on your natural nail, simply use the buffer included to remove and restore.
All of our nail sets are made with high quality gel tips as well as 4-5 coats of quality gel polish depending on the design.
